Nels Roseland was appointed to serve as the seventh State Controller of North Carolina starting July 1, 2022.  Nels was confirmed unanimously by both houses of the North Carolina Legislature to serve in this office for a term expiring June 30, 2029. During his professional career he has established himself as an experienced executive leader in public finance, information technology management, and organizational development.
