BEST Shared Services or Business Enterprise Support Team, is your centralized support group within the Office of the State Controller. This team provides a one-stop resource essential to the support of citizens, over 80,000 active state employees, retirees, as well as agency financial, HR, and payroll professionals. BEST also serves as a central point of contact and issue resolution regarding system maintenance, reporting, and payroll processing.
