When a core GUI user searches broadly (like by last name), SAP may detect that:
- Additional matching employees exist in the system, but the user is only authorized to see a subset.

In SAP WebGUI, the “Results list is incomplete due to missing authorization.” means the system is limiting the search results to the employees the user is allowed to approve, and WebGUI makes that more visible than the desktop version does.
WebGUI may display a warning message where the desktop GUI does not.
Quick Tip: In SAP WebGUI resetting the Search option from “N” to “J” is the recommended way to display results correctly and as expected.
