We are proud to present the 2025 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR) and the 2025 Financial Highlights or the "Popular Report" (Coming Soon). The Popular Report provides state government's financial highlights, including information on the sources of state revenues and how those revenues are spent, in a condensed and simplified format.
The Annual Report is divided into three parts:
- The Introductory Section
- The Financial Section
- The Statistical Section
For the 31st consecutive year, North Carolina received the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA) Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting for the 2024 Annual Comprehensive Financial Report (ACFR). The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting.
The 2025 ACFR has been submitted to the GFOA to determine its eligibility for another certificate.
