On June 9, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:40 p.m., the Office of the State Controller will host a webinar focused on the best practices in internal controls for state government employees. This course, Best Practices in Control Self-Assessments, is designed to provide an overview of the updated 2013 COSO Internal Control – Integrated Framework as well as the Standards for Internal Control in the Federal Government (a.k.a. the "Green Book“). Attendance will qualify for up to two hours of CPE credit. The course description is attached for your review. The instructor will be Melisa F. Galasso, CPA, CPTD and her biography is available on the Office of the State Controller's website.
